Automotive supplier Bosch expects e-cars to boost growth

E-mobility should not only lead German car companies into the future. Supplier Bosch also relies on the technology.

Stuttgart – The world's largest automotive supplier Bosch is increasingly focusing on growth with electromobility. This is what the group announced at the start of the IAA Mobility automobile fair in Munich. After the Corona kink in the previous year, sales in the automotive supplier division are expected to increase by ten percent in 2021. This year the group wants to turn over one billion euros with electric car technology. Bosch wants to increase its income fivefold by 2025.
As BW24 * reveals, Bosch managers are boldly predicting the breakthrough of the electric car.
"We are preparing for the fact that the demand for electric vehicles will increase globally," said Stefan Hartung, Managing Director of the automotive supplier. Nevertheless, Bosch continues to invest in the development of combustion engines. The company is counting on the fact that the conversion to electrical operations will still take time. * BW24 is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
