HBO Max announced the Friends: The Reunion special for May 27th. The streaming service put a short video online in which the six actors, filmed from behind, walk through the Warner Bros. studio premises in Burbank, California.
In addition to the “Friends” stars, numerous celebrity guests will also appear, including Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Cindy Crawford, Tom Selleck, Reese Witherspoon and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai.
Fans of the cult series “Friends” had to wait longer than expected for the planned special broadcast due to the corona pandemic. It was originally planned for May 2020. According to an announcement by the production company WarnerMedia in February 2020, the actors will play without a fixed script.
