Green voters like to drive SUVs. This stereotype persists. Very different party supporters like to be on the road with the “climate killer”.
Nuremberg – According to the Federal Statistical Office, around 4.3 million SUVs were registered in Germany on January 1st, 2021. Ascending trend. A survey by the Nuremberg market research institute Puls showed that Green voters of all people often opt for an SUV – the enemy of climate protectors.
The whole thing is just a clichéd fairy tale. A Civey survey commissioned by Spiegel, however, showed that only 24 percent of supporters of the Greens can basically imagine buying an SUV.
