What is a conjunction of planets?

All the planets in the Solar System revolve around the Sun in an elliptical orbit. Their continuous movements form concrete angles with respect to the Earth and themselves. When two or more planets meet at an angle of 8 degrees , a conjunction occurs. Between Jupiter and Saturn, for example, the conjunction occurs every 20 years, their mean orbital period. And every 18.6 years the alignment of the Earth, the Moon and the Sun occurs. By the way, this phenomenon determines the cycle of solar eclipses and tides produced by the Moon. This arrangement of planets, which is visible from the sky after sunset, creates an optical illusion of proximity between them. It happened, for example, on February 23 with Jupiter and Venus.
