Why doesn't the glue stick to the walls of the tube?

The reason why the glues do not stick to the walls of the tube that contains them is found in the same chemical composition of the adhesive substances.

Indeed, glues are nothing more than cyanoacrylate monomers, a substance that needs to come into contact with water in the atmosphere or another substance rich in hydrogen to undergo polymerization. Thanks to this phenomenon, the glue is able to join two surfaces. On the other hand, glue tubes also contain oxygen in the form of dry air, which inhibits the polymerization reaction.
