In May of this year, Apple announced news that hit many brand and music lovers: the decision to discontinue the iPod after 20 years of its launch.

“Music has always been part of our core at Apple and bringing it to hundreds of millions of users in the way that iPod did is testament to that. This gadget also redefined how music is discovered, listened to and shared,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, in the Cupertino company’s publication.
