A week with lots of sun in Germany

Just in time for the start of the week, Hoch “Martin” prevails and brings beautiful weather with lots of sunshine and only a few clouds.

Offenbach – Germany faces a sunny week with progressively milder temperatures.

“After a dense cloud cover clouded over the past weekend in many places, especially in eastern Germany, high “Martin” prevailed punctually at the start of the week and brought back the beautiful weather with lots of sunshine and only a few clouds everywhere,” said meteorologist Felix Dietzsch from the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach. “The upcoming high pressure situation will probably remain with us at least until the end of this week.”

After Tuesday started with thick patches of fog in the east and north, the sun will shine everywhere over the course of the day, according to forecasts. The maximum temperatures are 5 to 12 degrees, with the highest values on the Lower Rhine.

On Wednesday, too, the weather will show its sunny side after the fog fields in the east and north-east have cleared. According to the DWD, the temperatures reach 6 to 14 degrees. A weak to moderate east to south-east wind will also blow.

On Thursday there should be a lot of sun again after local fog fields have cleared. The maximum values are then between 9 degrees on the Oder and significantly warmer values elsewhere: In the west, spring-like 15 to 17 degrees are expected. dpa
