“Your hands are stained with the blood of our young people,” indicates one of the messages that appeared on the screens, when the news was broadcast on state television on Saturday night.

The cyberattack, which lasted a few seconds, was claimed by the activist group Edalat-e Ali (“The Justice of Ali”), which supports the protest movement, the most important in the country since the 2019 protests against the price hike. of gasoline.
The sequence also showed black and white photos of Mahsa Amini and three other murdered women.
In Iran, the Tasnim news agency confirmed that the nightly news “was briefly hacked by anti-revolutionary agents.”
On Friday, Iranian authorities said the young woman’s death was not caused by “beating” but by the aftermath of an illness.
But his father, Amjad Amini, rejected the medical report in an interview with Iran International, a Persian-language television station based in London. “I saw with my own eyes blood coming out of Mahsa’s ears and neck,” he said.
Activists and NGOs affirm that the young woman suffered a head injury during her detention.
Iran repeatedly accuses outside forces of fueling the protests, particularly the United States, which it has repeatedly named as its main enemy.
