Cologne – Two months ago, the roof structure of a school building on Borsigstrasse in Cologne-Ehrenfeld* caught fire. Some grade levels had to be temporarily housed in other buildings. However, the Cologne fire brigade* was able to protect the adjacent elementary school from considerable damage.
24RHEIN* shows how the students thanked the Cologne fire brigade.
Incidentally, according to the Cologne police, the cause of the fire is said to have been a technical defect. A police spokesman said a few days after the fire that there was no evidence of intentional arson. (nb) *24RHEIN is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
