Fernando Alonso will be at the controls of the Alpine A522 to compete in a new Formula 1 season, in which he will try to climb back to the top of the podium after a preparation course on the new technical rules.

The Asturian landed after two years away from the Great Circus in a structure that he already knew from his past at Enstone, but the activity did not cease, both outside and inside the track.

After a project development process, the Spaniard has announced the opening of his own representation agency, A14 Management , “born from the illusion of instilling what sport has taught us young drivers”, as indicated on the website official.

Alonso confirmed it through his accounts on social networks, publishing some images where he explained what it was about: “Pilots from the world of karting and lower categories, with the idea of helping them achieve their goals: physical training, advice on making decisions and economic management, among others”.

“We are impatient to share our experience with talents who will join the project and thus give them the opportunity to achieve their dreams,” the Spaniard continued on his Instagram profile. “From the FA Karting School to the different categories of motorsport”.

It is no secret that Alonso is passionate about karting, and every time he has the opportunity, he visits his circuit in Asturias to enjoy and train aboard one of these vehicles. There he created a school that has been growing to develop the youngest, and shortly after, the FA Racing Team, a team that competes in lower divisions, was already a reality.

The one from Alpine regularly shares his adventures with younger drivers, such as Nikola Tsolov , a 15-year-old Bulgarian who was a karting champion in his country. A few weeks ago Fernando Alonso was seen with him in a simulator session with a well-known video game.

In addition to Tsolov, the third classified of the 2021 Formula 3 season, Clement Novalak , will be the other representative of the two-time champion. Born in 2000, he added four podiums in the third rung of motorsports, and with 147 points in the Trident he took bronze. The Frenchman made the jump to F2 for the last two rounds of the course with MP Motorsport , where he only managed three 14ths and with whom he will continue this season.

“The two-time F1 world champion, 24 Hours of Le Mans and winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona, Fernando Alonso Díaz, launches, together with his trusted team, A14 Management,” explains the website.

“It was born with the intention of selecting a small group of drivers from the world of karting, the cradle of this sport, and instilling in them the essential values to achieve their goals in order to maximize the potential of each athlete. The most important thing is that we have learned from our own experience,” the statement concludes.

Next to Alonso will be Albert Resclosa Coll , who appears as co-founder of the project, and with whom he has been working since his time in karting in the 1990s. He is a specialist in the contract business and the contacts they have can be the ramp of release of these young pilots.

Another co-founder is a name better known to Formula 1 fans, Alberto Fernández Albilares , manager and close friend of the Spanish driver. Their experience can help budding competitors make contact with top teams and be as well positioned as possible.

This trio of experts in the world of motorsports have come together to try to create an agency that helps the youngest to reach the top, since you never know when a star from the firmament may fall on a race track to be champion. of the world.
