The Junta de Andalucía returns to anticipate and the community will be the first region of the continent to have a vaccination certificate validated by the European Union (EU) . This has been announced by the leader of the regional government, Juanma Moreno , highlighting that, once again, the Andalusians will be “pioneers.”

The Chairman of the Board, who has resumed his public agenda this Monday after overcoming Covid-19 and remaining isolated at home for the last week and a half, stressed that it is “a tremendously important announcement that shows that work well fact bears fruit ».

In the presentation ceremony in Seville of the future Cartuja-Macarena hospital , Moreno has stated that the forecast is that from this same Monday, people over 65 years of age will receive all the documentation related to the vaccination certificate by conventional mail, while the rest of the population will be able to access it through the Salud Andalucía app or the ClicSalud + website of the Andalusian Health Service (SAS) .

International travel

Also, apart from the vaccination certificate, there will be another document for people who have not been vaccinated for having had Covid in the last six months and who are in that situation of immunity generated by having passed the disease.

A third card will also be launched for “people free of Covid” , certifying through antigen tests or a PCR that they do not have the disease, and which will be especially useful to participate in certain activities or events.

These will be the “three categories” that will exist, according to the president, who has indicated that these three certificates will be mainly viable for Andalusia and that with regard to international travel , it will be determined by the decisions adopted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the possibility of traveling to other countries.
