The Minister of Health and Families, Jesús Aguirre , has valued the “great sensitivity” of Andalusians to the vaccine, since only 0.9% of them have rejected it. In addition, Aguirre has stressed that 60% of Andalusians are already immunized either after having completed the vaccination cycle or after having passed the disease.

This was announced by Aguirre in his presentation ‘New challenges in Public Health’, which he delivered this Thursday in the framework of the Executive Forum Spain colloquium, and in which he stressed that there are 7.5 million vaccines administered.

Last week 750,000 vaccines were administered and from Monday to Wednesday of this week 412,000 have been inoculated, as indicated by the counselor, while regretting that “for next month the same volume will not arrive.”

For this reason, he has indicated that, currently, it is calculated how many fewer doses will arrive from Pfizer starting next week because the people who are being inoculated now must receive the second in 21 days and, therefore, they are not being added. new age groups.

Finally, he indicated that one of the objectives of Andalusia is to vaccinate young groups and adolescents over 12 years of age before the school year begins.
