“It was around 4:30 a.m., so the freeway was completely empty. That was good. Because suddenly the top just clapped backwards. It bent backwards completely, but thank God it didn’t tear off completely,” said this year’s king of the jungle to Bild.
The two were lucky in their misfortune, Filip is aware of that: “We drove 160, so a car like that can lose control. Only a few parts blew off, but we were able to collect them.” But how it was possible for the top to fly up while driving, even the TV star cannot explain. “It’s a convertible and the top was to” says the 27-year-old.
