Unna district – A cattle collection point in the district has been closed until further notice. The employees have been prohibited from handling animals, as reported by RUHR24 *. This also means that animals can no longer be traded on the cattle yard for the time being. According to the Dortmund public prosecutor's office, there is an allegation of animal cruelty in the area against the cattle collection point *. An animal rights organization had collected evidence in the form of videos. The animals in the cattle collection point are said to be mainly slaughter animals, such as cows. Horses are not excluded either, but the Dortmund public prosecutor cannot confirm that.
The cows were tortured on the way from the cattle store to the slaughter, reports RUHR24.
