Bagnaia achieves his third consecutive MotoGP pole in Austin

0

Bagnaia , who does not cease in his efforts to try to catch Fabio Quartararo in the fight for the title, will be the first rider to start the first in this circuit aside from Marc Márquez, author of the seven pole positions that had been put at stake previously.

Next to the Ducati rider will start, precisely, Quartararo (second) and Márquez (third), in what is the best starting position of the season for the Honda rider.

The second row will be occupied by Jorge Martín (fourth), Takaaki Nakagami (fifth) and Johann Zarco (sixth).

Alex Rins will start seventh, alongside Joan Mir (eighth), his Suzuki teammate who had to go through the first qualifying round (Q1), and Luca Marini (ninth), the big surprise of this Saturday.

Jack Miller, tenth, closed a top ten from which Pol Espargaró (12th) was left out, as well as Aleix Espargaró (19th) and Valentino Rossi, penultimate – both suffered falls.
