Banco del Bajío customers will now be able to make commission-free cash withdrawals at BanCoppel and Banco Mifel ATMs.

“The integration into the alliance of BanCoppel and Banca Mifel confirms that the institution continues to work on the diversification of channels that allow consolidating closeness with its customers,” Banco del Bajío reported in a statement on Monday.

With this alliance, Banco del Bajío will have a network of 8,500 ATMs in the country, where customers will be able to make cash withdrawals from debit cards as well as balance inquiries at no cost.

For withdrawals with credit cards, the bank will maintain the commission charge.

In addition to BanCoppel and Mifel, the bank already has an alliance with other banks such as Afirme, Scotiabank, Inbursa, Banregio, Intercam and Banco Azteca.

Until last March, BanCoppel had a total of 1,510 ATMs throughout the country while Banco del Bajío had 698 of its own ATMs until May 31.

Banco del Bajío also has a network of correspondents in Farmacias Guadalaja and Telecomm. In the first quarter of 2021, Banco del Bajío registered a loan portfolio of 201,896 million pesos and a net profit of 945 million pesos.
