Open until 4 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays (12 a.m. the rest of the week), The Diamond has some staples that were mentioned on the menu of the old Penguin restaurant (change of ownership), such as the Chicken Dixie sandwich and the Pickles. fried. As a Greek-owned diner, it’s also recommended to try their pita and baklava souvlaki.

A Charlotte favorite, you can find this spot at the Park Road Mall on the ground floor, which offers a full menu until 2am each night. Named after scientist Edmond Halley, this English-style pub has an excellent range of food and drink. Try their sausages and their pureed quesadillas or chicken and black beans to start, or you can be more adventurous and have your ostrich meatloaf. Either way, you’ll get a delicious meal that hits the spot.
