Best of the year according to iTunes

Apple has released the iTunes Rewind 2011 , with the best and most sold in 2011 in music, movies and apps according to the data collected in the Spanish iTunes Store. In terms of music, 21 by Adele has been the best international album, 10 thousandles per veure una bona armor by Manel is the best national album, and Pablo Alborán ranks as the best new artist. Among the selection of the best apps, Minube stands out as App of the Year, followed by Instagram and Tuenti as finalists. The star game of 2011 on iTunes was Tiny Wings .

For iPad, the most downloaded free app was El País, followed by Skype for iPad and Angry Birds. In this “top ten” of the Apple tablet also appears the Very Interesting application, which ranks number 8 . On iPhone, the list of the most downloaded paid apps is topped by the popular WhatsApp Messenger, followed by the game Angry Birds . As for the most downloaded free apps, those related to social networks predominate (Facebook, Twitter, Tuenti) along with Spotify or Skype.

When it comes to movies, Black Swan has won the best movie of the year and Despicable Me as the best animated film. The best comedy of the year according to the national iTunes Rewind is the Spanish Primos .
