A big fire broke out in central London. The fire brigade is on site with a large number. A video shows columns of smoke meters high.
Update from June 28th, 4.40 p.m.: Around 100 fire fighters are now said to be on site. It is still unclear whether people have been harmed. According to the British news agency PA, the fire brigade assume that the fire could have broken out in nearby garages.
Because of the fire, several train connections were interrupted and the station was evacuated, and the emergency services blocked the surrounding streets. According to initial assessments, the police do not assume that there was a terrorist-motivated act behind the incident.
