Bimbo: six consecutive years as the company with the best reputation in Mexico

The world’s leading bakery company obtained the highest score in the ranking prepared by the Corporate Reputation Business Monitor (Merco), on the occasion of its tenth anniversary, in which 10 companies participated.

Merco granted special recognition to the companies with the greatest reputation in global computing in the last decade. The variables analyzed in each organization, for the ranking, are the following:

• Economic results, quality of commercial offer and corporate responsibility
• Opinion of economic information journalists, financial analysts, social media managers, non-governmental organizations and academics.
• Surveys of the general public
• Presence in the digital world
• Evaluation of merits

José Luis Leyva, Grupo Bimbo’s Global Director of Communications, highlighted that Merco has done a great job promoting awareness management and the work of various organizations. What for him has meant that multiple organizations seek to stand out year after year.

“The recognition that we receive today is for the more than 75,000 employees who are part of Grupo Bimbo in Mexico, and it is the result of our daily work to build a sustainable, highly productive and fully human company,” added the manager.
