The president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro , has lived a new uncomfortable moment as a result of his erratic management against the coronavirus. The leader was booed and insulted this Friday when he got on a plane in the state of Espírito Santo, in the southeast of the country, to dismiss the passengers. Bolsonaro, who had come to Espírito Santo to participate in an act of handing over public houses, got on one of the planes that were about to take off from the airport of Vitoria, the capital, to say goodbye to the passengers, according to the newspaper O Globo , who has also published the videos.
Shouting “out Bolsonaro!” and “genocidal!”, has been received by a part of the passage to which the Brazilian president has responded that they get off and go “mounted on a donkey.” On the other hand, he has also received the affection of some supporters, who were there on the plane.
Bolsonaro traveled to Sao Mateus, in the north of the state, on Friday to participate in a ceremony to hand over the keys to a public housing park. During the ceremony, he revealed that his defense of the use of chloroquine to treat the coronavirus is due to the fact that he has listened to “people who had knowledge about the case.”
“I have been attacked by the virus and I took hydroxychloroquine. Perhaps I have been the only head of state who sought a remedy for this evil (…). I heard from people who had knowledge of the case. When I said that this could be good, the opposition opened a war against us, ”Bolsonaro protested.
The Parliamentary Investigation Commission (CPI) in charge of studying the management of the health crisis in Brazil has indicated in recent weeks that Bolsonaro would have been guided by a “parallel cabinet” that opted for alternative measures in the fight against the pandemic.
The idea of the ICC was reinforced when a few days ago the Brazilian press published a series of videos in which Bolsonaro participated with some allies, such as the former Minister of Citizenship, Osmar Terra, in a meeting in which alternatives to the vaccines and confinement, including chloroquine.
