Such threats have been causing police operations for years. Schools, courthouses and shopping centers are often affected. According to official information, the background is unclear. The warnings are mainly received via email. The Russian domestic secret service FSB has already blocked foreign mail providers. It is believed that the threats were sent through them. The mayor of Ekaterinburg in the Urals, Alexei Orlov, reportedly said the threats came at 3 a.m. that night. He therefore assumed that the emails were sent from abroad. According to the authorities, 151 of the 163 schools in the city had already been evacuated on Wednesday.

In the port city of Arkhangelsk in northern Russia, the students have to study from home again. At some schools in Moscow there were already exercises for quick evacuations in an emergency. (tu / dpa) * fr.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
