Wuppertal – A driver crashed into the wall of a residential building in Wuppertal on Wednesday night.
The driver had left the downhill road in a left curve and got stuck with his vehicle in the living room window of the house, the police said. The 77-year-old resident slept in the next room and was unharmed.
According to the police, two men aged 25 and 29 and a 32-year-old woman sat in the accident car. They were easily injured. When the officers arrived, all three had already got out of the car, according to the notification. It was said that it was unclear which of the two men had been behind the wheel. A blood sample was taken from both of them because of the smell of alcohol, and the driver's licenses and the car were seized. dpa
