Photographer Christopher Morris has not forgotten his meeting with Charlene of Monaco to this day. On Instagram he throws an emotional look back.

The American photographer Christopher Morris has had many a familiar face in front of his lens, and in 2015 he was also allowed to photograph the Monegasque princess. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Prince Albert II* (63), Morris invited Charlène to a photo shoot for the magazine “Paris Match”. The mother of two apparently made a lasting impression that hasn’t faded years later. A few days ago, the photographer reviewed his royal encounter on Instagram and shared three black and white photos of Princess Charlène *.

One photo in particular should bring back sad memories for Charlène. One picture shows the Princess with her Chihuahua, which she lovingly hugs. Charlène’s dog died at the end of last year *, the monarch announced on her Instagram account at the time that the Chihuahua had been run over. Charlène must have found it difficult to say goodbye to her faithful companion, Morris’ post is now reopening old wounds.
