Chicago Gay Clubs & Bathhouses Guide

0

Chicago has several venues intended for men looking to connect, including one of the most popular gay bathhouses in any major city in the US, Steamworks Chicago (3246 N. Halsted St., 773-929-6080), which it’s right on bustling Halsted Street – in the city’s Boystown neighborhood – near dozens of gay bars and other popular businesses in the community. Part of the Steamworks brand that has other locations in Toronto, Berkeley, Vancouver, and Seattle, this well-equipped establishment has a host of amenities beyond the usual lockers, private rooms, gym equipment, and play areas.

Amenities include USB ports in the fanciest rooms, toilet stations for douching (you can wash hoses from vending machines), a mouthwash drinking fountain, flat-screen TVs in rooms, dry saunas on two floors, and much more. Not surprisingly, this club is so popular – the rates are a bit higher too, but for what you get, especially in the private rooms, it’s a good value. Visit the official Steamworks Chicago site for more details on rates and features.

You’ll also find a variety of gay nightspots and gay friendly restaurants throughout the city. Here are three helpful resources to find them:
