Children's book classic "The little I-am-I" turns 50

"The little I-am-I" has been a popular children's book classic for 50 years and helps the little ones to find their identity on 32 colorful pages.

"The little I-am-I" saw the light of day in March 1972 and quickly became a children's book classic. The plot is told quickly: an unspecified colorful animal wanders over 32 lovingly illustrated and rhyming pages of the book and asks one animal after the other who or what it is – horses, fish, birds, hippos, dogs. To this day, the story has lost none of its charm and is still educationally valuable.
Mira Lobe and Susi Weigel's journey to self for children from three years old is still popular today and is now 50 years old, *BuzzFeed.at reported.

The message conveyed by "The Little I-Am-I": Every human being is unique and individual, and that's a good thing. * BuzzFeed.at is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
