China builds the fastest train in the world but has no tracks to make it travel

Last January we told you about a bullet train prototype built in China that seems to finally be a reality, but for the moment it will not have any way of circulating. This is the fastest train in the world built in China but with no tracks to make it travel.

China builds the fastest train in the world but has no tracks to make it travel

The Maglev train is the bullet train that has been built in China . A train that works by magnetic levitation capable of reaching an astonishing speed of 600 kilometers per hour. However, there is a problem: the project engineers have not yet built the tracks on which to place the vehicle , so even though the project is all news to celebrate for the future of the rail industry, it seems that we are still going to having to wait a long time to see the train moving.

The Maglev train may travel without touching the rails by magnetic levitation, but tracks are still required so until they are in place, it cannot be put into operation. Regardless, the Maglev is a revolution as it emits only very low noise levels and requires much less maintenance than other high-speed trains. So even if it does not have tracks for now, the experts intend to build them as soon as possible and with it, that this new bullet train can finally be enjoyed.

Thanks to the Maglev train, the country intends to establish “three-hour transportation circuits” linking China’s major cities, thus providing its inhabitants with an excellent alternative to air travel. This new Chinese magnetic levitation train is “only” 200 km / h slower than a commercial airplane . A trip between Beijing and Shanghai, for example, could be even faster than a plane trip.

To get from point A to point B, in fact, currently by plane it takes about two hours, while the same trip on the Maglev train would take only 2.5 hours. When calculating the time actually spent at the airport (such as queuing, checking in, waiting for the plane to be checked, and much more), the “ground” option might be the most convenient and fastest.

In short, the end result will undoubtedly be interesting, we can only wait and see what happens once the train starts.
