Berlin – The entertainer Frank Zander (79) is distributing food from a food truck to those in need in Berlin this Monday. In the joint campaign with Caritas, the musician wants to hand out meals, gift bags and sleeping bags until December 17th.

His traditional Christmas dinner for the homeless in Berlin in a hotel has to be canceled again due to the pandemic.

Zander will be supported by celebrities and politicians at the Caritas food truck throughout the week. Among others, the designated governing mayor of Berlin, Franziska Giffey (SPD), the left-wing politician Gregor Gysi as well as the comedian Dieter Hallervorden and the boxing athlete Regina Halmich are expected.
