On 11.11. the start of the carnival is celebrated in Cologne. There are no corona rules. That’s why a pub in Cologne has now set its own corona rules.

Cologne – In a few weeks the time will have come: the start of the carnival will be celebrated in a big way all over Cologne. So far, there are no strict corona rules from the city or the state. The bagatelle in the south of the city has therefore now set its own corona rules. “You can’t talk yourself into that. When many people yell at each other in a small space for hours, the virus feels good,” says Daniel Rabe, owner of Bagatelle, to 24RHEIN.
24RHEIN provides information about the stricter corona rules of the individual gastro operators in Cologne.

The fear: During the Cologne carnival celebration, too many people become infected with the corona virus. “Our experience is that an incredible number of people got infected last year,” explains Rabe. (jw)
