Coronavirus: Andalusia adds 11 days lowering its rate but continues to exceed a thousand daily cases

Andalusia continues its fight against the coronavirus, adding more than a thousand cases a day for weeks, but lowering its rate for more than 11 consecutive days. The massive vaccination and the good course of the pandemic mean that, although new infections are detected daily, most of them are asymptomatic, people who know they are sick due to a positive PCR. Hospitals continue to empty themselves of coronavirus patients, but it is not yet time to lower our guard, the virus is still very present throughout the country.

Andalusia adds 1,095 cases and lowers its rate more than 10 consecutive days

Coronavirus infections are added one more day with a figure greater than a thousand. This number has not been exceeded in recent weeks, this figure has been maintained for a long time. The new cases are stable and are mostly people who do not have symptoms, they only have a positive PCR that indicates that they are carriers of the coronavirus.

The 1,095 cases in the last 24 hours are registered after 1,260 on Monday and Sunday, 1,327 on Saturday, 1,328 on Friday, 1,440 on Thursday, 1,175 on Wednesday and 1,098 on Tuesday last. By provinces, Malaga ranks as the one with the most cases with 272, followed by Cádiz and Córdoba with 170 each, Seville with 159, Granada with 155, Jaén with 75, Almería with 61 and Huelva with 33.

The stable figures and the decline in infections cause the reference rate to continue to decline sharply. The cumulative incidence of Andalusia has fallen for the eleventh day in a row and stands at 163.8 per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days, 0.4 points less in one day and 7.7 less in seven.

7 deaths and slight increase in hospitalized with coronavirus in Andalusia

Today Tuesday June 29, 7 people have lost the battle against the coronavirus in Andalusia. The worst face of this pandemic has been seen in some provinces, but not all. Andalusia has registered this Tuesday, June 29, an increase in the number of hospitalized with coronavirus to 552, 15 more in one day, but 57 less than seven days ago. Those admitted to an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) have also increased to 125, one more in a day and 18 less in a week.
