Countess Eloise: Your "quarantine walk" is making waves

Countess Eloise apparently needs some tutoring on Corona rules. With a walk during her quarantine, she causes a stir.

Amsterdam – Hardly any other royal family seems to struggle with the Corona rules like the Dutch. The family of King Willem-Alexander (54) and Queen Máxima (50) has repeatedly aroused the displeasure of their compatriots during the pandemic. The youngest offender is Countess Eloise of Oranje-Nassau (19).

The Dutch royals almost regularly make negative corona headlines, and in the new year they promptly made a big mistake, which of course did not go unnoticed. Countess Eloise, the niece of King Willem-Alexander, had to go into quarantine a few days ago after one of her roommates tested positive for the corona virus. Anyone who is in quarantine is not actually allowed to leave their house in the Netherlands either, and the 19-year-old ignored this rule out of hand.

On her Instagram profile, Eloise shared photos from a “quarantine walk” through Amsterdam, emphasizing that not she but her roommate was positive. Since corona-compliant behavior definitely looks different, Eloise’s short trip to the fresh air quickly caused an uproar in her home country. However, Prince Constantijn’s (52) daughter saw her mistake and apologized for breaking the rules. *24royal.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
