Queen Máxima (50) and King Willem-Alexander (54) accepted the invitation of King Harald V (84) and traveled to Norway for a three-day trip. In the capital, the Dutch regent couple was solemnly welcomed by their colleagues from the far north and received at the Royal Palace in Oslo. The highlight of the first day was a glamorous gala dinner in the large dining room of the Oslo Palace, around 200 guests were invited. The royal hosts and their visitors naturally drew everyone’s attention, especially Queen Máxima in her breathtaking ombré robe by Jan Taminiau. While Queen Sonja (84) brought some color into play with her light green evening dress, her daughter Princess Märtha Louise (50) chose a more delicate shade of lilac.
