The fuel shortage is beginning to be felt in Havana. The inhabitants of the Cuban capital are taking several hours to refuel their vehicles. Dozens of cars queue around the few gas stations in the city waiting their turn to resume their day to day. Washington blames Cuba for the support it provides to Venezuela and justifies its new restrictions by arguing that Havana is Nicolás Maduro's main political supporter. The president of the Socialist Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, has already assured that this situation is only "temporary".
