Panda bears or giant pandas ( Ailuropoda Melanoleuca ) are endemic animals of the Asian continent. This species had decreased its population over the years, however, China has made this animal a national symbol to save it and prevent its extinction. According to the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, fewer than 1,900 pandas are believed to remain in the wild.
