A couple of doctors issuing fake vaccination cards? What sounds like pure fiction now seems to have come true in the Taunus. The police are investigating.
Rhein-Main – There are many ways to have a vaccination certificate issued – both legal and illegal. A doctor from the Taunus is said to have issued hundreds of these vaccination cards for money – without actually having administered the corona vaccinations * certified therein. Police officers therefore searched the practice and the home of the 87-year-old and secured the relevant evidence.
The investigators also targeted the doctor’s 77-year-old wife and a 64-year-old acquaintance, as the public prosecutor’s office in Frankfurt * and the responsible police headquarters in Wiesbaden announced on Thursday (February 3, 2022).
The suspicion was confirmed as part of the extensive investigations, so that the investigators requested search warrants for the residential and commercial buildings used by the suspects.
Searches at the doctors’ couple: Batch stickers, vaccines and cash found
During the searches in Weilrod and Neu-Anspach (Hochtaunuskreis) on Tuesday last week (February 25th, 2022), the officers found, among other things, batch stickers, unused vaccines and a large amount of cash. According to the investigation, people from the entire Rhine-Main area have been among the buyers of the illegal vaccination certificates since August 2021.
The police released the suspects after the police measures had been completed. However, the investigations are still ongoing.
