Djokovic will be able to play at Roland Garros

Novak Djokovic will be able to defend his crown as current champion of Roland Garros. The Serbian tennis player, who refuses to vaccinate, has seen how the new measures announced by the Government of Emmanuele Macron would allow him to enter the Gallic country if the clay court tournament is held next week for excellent.

The French executive has decided to withdraw the COVID passport requirement to enter the country from March 14 , although they reserve the right to review the regulations depending on the evolution of the pandemic. A new wave may cause France to increase their measures and prevent Djokovic from participating, but with the Champions League final a week before the tournament it seems unlikely that they will tighten up too much.

The fact is that the agenda is clearing up for a Djokovic who, although he cannot participate in the American tour with Indian Wells and Miami due to regulations, will be at full capacity to play the entire season on clay where he plans to participate in the tournaments in Montecarlo, Belgrade, Madrid and Rome.

After losing the world number one and being cornered in the Australian Open, a new dawn emerges on Djokovic's horizon . The Serbian has saved a match-ball and is now preparing to trace the match to the coronavirus.
