A British study of 700 parking stations has concluded that women park better than men . The study, carried out by the firm NCP (National Car Parks), took into account several aspects: how quickly drivers locate a parking space, how they drive towards it, how long it takes to park, how many times they correct the position of the car and the final result.
On a 20-point scale, women obtained an average of 13.4 . Men lagged behind, obtaining an average score of 12.3. What the boys did prove to be better at is parking speed (16 seconds for them versus 21 seconds for them). But the women found a free space before and, after completing the maneuver, most of them (53%) had parked the vehicle in the center of the available space, compared to only 25% of the men.
