Don't open the mail! Consar alert about messages of alleged withdrawals to the Afore

0

Did you get an email about an alleged withdrawal of resources from your Afore? The National Commission of the Retirement Savings System (Consar) warned that it is false. In this regard, the agency suggested answering it, opening the attached document and not giving any personal data.

The message is presented with the logos of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), the Consar and the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), so users might think it is real, but it is not.

According to the Consar statement, the email indicates the worker's social security number under the subject of a partial withdrawal resolution from the Afore.

The Consar recalled that it does not carry out any type of procedure of this type.

What to do if I get this email?

The agency suggests:

  • Do not click on any of its links
  • Do not open the attached document
  • delete it

In case of doubt, you can contact your Afore.
