Ducati tunes in Mugello before Honda Aprilia and KTM go to Jerez

At Mugello , Ducati has been undefeated since 2017, thanks to the successes of Dovizioso, Jorge Lorenzo and Danilo Petrucci. After the 2020 edition of the Italian Grand Prix was not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bolognese brand wants to extend the streak this year.

For this reason, less than three days after returning from Qatar, the test team took to the Tuscan track to prepare for the home race, as shown by the photos and the short video posted on social media by test driver Michele Pirro, who seems to have enjoyed the return to the Tuscan track.

Although next week the third round of the season will take place, the Portuguese Grand Prix in Portimao, these days are especially intense in terms of private tests in the premier class.

Starting Monday, in Jerez , Aprilia , Honda and KTM will be on the track, and all eyes will be on Dovizioso’s debut on the RS-GP, which could be the first step for a future marriage between the Italian and the Noale maker.
