The Hollywood star from Great Britain is promoting his latest film on US television. He talks about how this is received by his family.

Los Angeles – Hollywood star Eddie Redmayne, in his daughter’s eyes, should have stayed in the Harry Potter universe rather than taking on his latest role. “You got a glimpse of the trailer for the movie, which, again, is educationally awful,” the 40-year-old told US host Stephen Colbert of his film The Good Nurse, which starred the male nurse and serial killer Charles Cullen plays.

“I don’t know why I showed them this,” admitted Redmayne, who has a six-year-old daughter and four-year-old son with his wife Hannah Bagshawe. “They realized pretty quickly that I’m not the good nurse. I’m the bad nurse. And my daughter asked me to maybe go back to my role as a magician.”

In the Harry Potter prequel “Fantastic Beasts,” Redmayne plays Newt Scamander, a grumpy magizoologist. The Good Nurse, in which a nurse (played by Jessica Chastain) tracks down her co-worker who is murdering, hits Netflix on Wednesday. dpa
