Eight people were injured in a fire in a building in Berlin, three of them seriously. There was a fire in a wing of the house since early Saturday for an unexplained cause.

Berlin – Eight people were injured, three of them seriously, in a fire in a residential building in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district.

As a spokesman for the Berlin fire brigade announced, there has been a fire in a side wing of the house since early Saturday morning for an unexplained cause. Several projectiles were in flames, the fire spread to the roof. Two people were seriously injured jumping out of the building. Another person was reanimated, and there are five more injured, it said. The deployment should probably continue for several hours. There are a total of 100 emergency services on site. dpa
