From Castrop-Rauxel, they find more and more fans with a mixture of metal and electronic dance music: Electric Callboy’s new album enters the charts at the top.

Baden-Baden – The metalcore band Electric Callboy has reached number one in the charts for the first time with their newly released album “Tekkno”. This was announced by GfK Entertainment on Friday. “Tekkno” is the band’s sixth record, but their first under a new name. The six-man formation from Castrop-Rauxel has existed since 2010.

There was also a new record for the album “Zorn & Liebe” by the Upper Swabian indie band Province. They debuted at number two on the album charts. This was followed by the new album “Born Pink” by the South Korean girl group Blackpink. Roland Kaiser’s “Perspectives” asserted itself on the four. A remixed version of the Pink Floyd classic “Animals” landed in fifth place.

In the single charts, singer Nina Chuba claims first place with “Wildberry Lillet”. Miksu / Macloud & makko (“Nachts awake”) as well as David Guetta and Bebe Rexha with their remix “I’m Good (Blue)” follow unchanged in second and third place. DJ Robin & Schürze (“Layla”) climbs to fourth place, “Ferrari” by James Hype & Miggy Dela Rosa to fifth place. dpa
