The Federation has decided to summon 11 players from the under-21s who have played the international match that has measured Spain and Lithuania at the Municipal Stadium in Butarque . Álvaro Fernández, Juan Miranda, Óscar Mingueza, Alejandro Pozo, Marc Cucurella, Brahim Díaz, Martin Zubimendi, Gonzalo Villar, Bryan Gil, Yeremy Pino and Javi Puado are the players who will join the parallel bubble in Las Rozas while it is finished to confirm how many players of the national team have tested positive for coronavirus.

These 11 players will join Pablo Fornals, Rodrigo Moreno, Brais Méndez, Carlos Soler, Raúl Albiol and Kepa Arrizabalaga to the training sessions that are taking place in the Ciudad del Fútbol of Las Rozas. The Federation believes that it will not return to normal until next Friday or Saturday.

The 20-player Under-21 squad has performed at a high level against Lithuania. The national team won 4-0 thanks to goals from Guillamón, Brahim, Miranda and Puado. 15 were the players who debuted with the senior team.

Luis Enrique has 41 players ready

With the 17 players in the parallel bubble of Las Rozas and the 24 in the first call, Luis Enrique adds a total of 41 players ready to play the next Eurocup. Even so, the Spanish coach will have until next Saturday at 9:00 p.m. to draw up the official list of the tournament in which Spain debuts next Monday against Sweden, which also has two positives in the group and is also one away from the outbreak.

In this way, the Federation and Luis Enrique have wanted to cover their backs against a possible new case that would lead to an outbreak and would further complicate the plan for the first match of a European Championship in which Spain will start on the wrong foot.
