Maybe soon all holidaymakers will have to be tested for Corona before entering Germany. The extended test obligation could apply from August 1st.

Düsseldorf / Berlin – Anyone who goes on vacation and enters Germany by car has not yet been subject to a general test requirement – but that could soon change. Because the extended test obligation for all returnees could come into force as early as August 1st. 24RHEIN * reports what holidaymakers should know about the general compulsory test when entering the country *.

So far there has been a general obligation to test in Germany, but the rule only applies to air travel. With the extended test obligation, motorists and train travelers would also have to be tested for the corona virus * before entering the country. A general border control has not yet been planned.
