Christian Eriksen was released on Friday afternoon after undergoing surgery to implant an internal defibrillator. The Danish soccer federation confirmed the good news about the health of the footballer who was struck down during the Euro Cup match between Denmark and Finland at the Parken in Copenhagen.
“Thank you for the great number of congratulations, it has been incredible to see and feel it. The operation went well and I am fine under these circumstances. It's really great to see what a great game the guys played last night. It goes without saying that I will be cheering them on next Monday against Russia, ”was the message sent to the fans by an Eriksen who now has a long recovery ahead of him.
