Espargaró skips the bubble and the Sepang Circuit asks the FIM for force

0

A great fan of cycling, Aleix Espargaró always travels with his bike to train when he has the chance, and the Sepang tests, which take place this week in the Malaysian country, have not been an exception.

The Aprilia rider, who went out on the track on Wednesday to do a test day taking advantage of the fact that the Noale manufacturer applies for concessions, uploaded some photos to his social networks this Thursday training with his bicycle, with which he traveled about 62 kilometers, as can be seen in their instagram stories.

The problem is that MotoGP obtained permission from the Malaysian health authorities to organize the pre-season tests under certain conditions, including the establishment of a health bubble so that the members of the paddock only moved from the hotel to the circuit and vice versa.

The images of Aleix training by bicycle in the vicinity of Putrajaya , about 20 kilometers north of the hotel area, forced those responsible for the SIC (Sepang International Circuit) to strongly ask the FIM to control this type of situation to avoid greater evils.

In an email addressed to the FIM, those responsible for the SIC explain, without citing him, that a member of the paddock, in this case everything points to Aleix Espargaró , “continues to circumvent the bubble and the restrictions”, assuring that his conduct ” it is a health violation” and that being “a serious crime, the circuit is in a compromised position” before the authorities.

Those responsible for the SIC warn the FIM that if they persist in their attitude, “we will be forced to alert the competent authorities. So we seek swift and serious action to mitigate the situation.”

As Motorsport.com has learned, the interested party has been warned and has claimed not to know that a health bubble had been established around MotoGP throughout the test week, and that it was not going to be repeated.

The official pre-season tests will return this Saturday with two days of testing at the Sepang Circuit, where all the drivers from the premier class will be present, as well as some of the test drivers.
