Eurocup predictions: Spain shoots up and beats Belgium, Holland and Portugal in bets to win the tournament

0

Spain’s win against Slovakia gives a boost to the National Team in the betting of this Euro 2020. The classification of Luis Enrique’s men for the round of 16 and, above all, the way in which it has been achieved, have placed the team national as one of the top favorites to clinch the title. La Roja is already fifth in the bets, beating teams with great potential such as Belgium, the Netherlands or the current champion, Portugal.

After being second in group E, Spain has not had an easy path for the final. However, the force with which they prevailed in a decisive moment, in which they needed a victory to get into the round of 16, has caused the Spanish team to be among the great candidates to reach the continental throne nine years later .

Only France, Italy, England and Germany are better positioned than Spain in betting. Those of Deschamps, with Mbappé and Benzema at the head, continue in the lead, paying for their victory at five euros per euro bet. From there, the differences between the rest are reduced. The good feelings left by Italy place it second, at seven euros, while those of Southgate are quoted at 7.50 euros. Despite achieving the classification with more problems than expected, Germany is fourth, paying its victory at eight euros for each euro wagered, while Spain is at 8.50 euros .

Third favorite to be in quarters

Where Spain is one of the big favorites is in the round of 16. Croatia is the rival to be measured and they have already shown that it will not be easy to kick them out of this European Championship. Modric’s magic continues to be decisive, as was clear against Scotland, when the Balkan team needed it most. Despite this, Luis Enrique’s men are the great favorites to win the game, with their victory in 90 minutes at 1.60 euros , for the six euros at which the Croatian triumph is listed and the 3.70 euros at which is the tie.

More favorite is still to be in the quarterfinals. The qualification of Spain for the next round, regardless of how it is achieved, is paid at 1.30 euros , for the 3.50 of the Croatia pass. This quota places the National Team as the third team to which the forecasts give more options to be in the quarterfinals. Only the qualification of France against Switzerland and that of Italy against Austria is paid less, with fees of 1.22 euros.

The tough crosses that will occur in the second round, in which Portugal will face Belgium and England against Germany, causes Spain to be one of the most unequal qualifiers, in principle. They surpass, for example, the Netherlands, which will face the Czech Republic and which is also one of the great aspirants to reach the final rounds.

Hard way to the end

The simplest tie that would remain for Spain on its way to the final, except for surprise, would be Croatia. Logic invites us to think that France will be the rival to wait in the quarterfinals. Reason that prevents the Spanish team from being even more favorite in this European Championship. Even so, that the Selection accesses the semifinals it is priced at 2.87 euros , for the 1.95 euros to which the pass de les bleus is among the four that will be in the semis.

If it were possible to overcome the quarterfinals, I would almost certainly expect another ‘bogeyman’. Spain’s rival in the penultimate round would come out of the clashes between Belgium and Portugal and Italy-Austria. With the exception of the Austrians, the other three are great candidates to fight for the title. However, the classification of ours for the final is five euros .

It is the same quota presented by Hazard and De Bruyne’s Belgium , so a tie between the two would be, according to these forecasts, more than even. In the case of Portugal, their presence in the title match is paid at eight euros. In this aspect, Italy is slightly higher, whose qualification for the final is paid at 4.33 euros.

In a hypothetical final, Spain would face England, Germany or the Netherlands. The three are the strongest teams on the other side of the table, in which we find teams such as Sweden, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Wales or Denmark. Hence, the three are the favorites to be in the decisive match. The classification of Teutons and English for the final is quoted at four euros per euro wagered, while that of the tulips is at 4.50 euros.

One of the bets that can be made is who will be the finalists. If it is assumed that one of them will be Spain, its most likely rival would be England. That this confrontation occurs in the game for the title trades at 17 euros, two euros below the 19 that is the reissue of the 2008 final, between ours and Germany. If the match takes place against the Netherlands, the fee is 21 euros.
