Munich – Daniele Negroni (27) published a worrying post on his Instagram channel at the end of July: There had been an accident with his girlfriend Davina Carstens. He will therefore be a little more inactive on social media for the time being and take care of them. Now he clarified what really happened and also announced his engagement.

He speaks of a day at the end of July that should have been a very relaxed get-together and meal with his parents. In the garden in Munich there was a shock experience.
“Suddenly it goes ‘boom’ and I see my girlfriend biting into the pizza, the pizza catches fire and suddenly I see that my girlfriend is completely on fire,” remembers Daniele Negroni, still visibly affected. “I’ll just never forget that first cry,” he adds.

Bioethanol ignited, causing Davina’s right arm, left leg, hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes to catch fire. “Then I first tried to make myself ‘off’. It got worse and worse from time to time, it was always, always hotter,” says Davina Carstens. Fortunately, the mother of the well-known singer reacted in time and prevented worse things from happening.
Davina Carstens was hospitalized with second-degree burns. She is still in a wheelchair today because her arm and leg are in plaster and she is not supposed to walk. This experience opened Daniele Negroni’s eyes, so he proposed to his girlfriend a week later. There is no date for the wedding yet – the focus is now on getting completely healthy again.
