Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton compete for the World Cup just eight points apart between the Dutchman and the British. The Spanish Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz will start in thirteenth and fifteenth position, respectively.

Everything at stake in this Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia. Formula 1 is decided in this and the last race in Abu Dhabi between Max Verstappen, current leader of the classification, and Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time champion who has been cutting points in recent races. The Briton is only eight points behind the Dutch and has in his hand to be champion of continuing to take first place.
Hamilton took pole and will start in first position at this Saudi Arabian GP in Jeddah. Behind him will be his teammate Valtteri Bottas and thirdly Verstappen. The Dutchman's crash on the last lap of Q3 ruined the times improved by the British set, settling for third place.
Things were not quite right in qualifying for Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz. The Spanish duet will start in thirteenth and fifteenth position, so they will have to risk and advance many positions to rub shoulders with the top positions and the points.
