Aston Martin is not satisfied with seventh place in the constructors’ standings after overtaking Haas and AlphaTauri with its strong performance in the last race in Singapore. The Silverstone guys have already set up a pretty good setup for qualifying, and seem to aim to be in the points zone regularly, without forcing their duo, Lance Stroll and Sebastian Vettel, to make risky comebacks from the back of Grill.
In their sights they have sixth place, which is in the hands of Alfa Romeo, who have only added one point in the last eight grands prix, while the British have reaped 22. Reading those numbers, it is clear that the hope of the team led by Mike Krack , can reduce the distance of 15 units with respect to those of Hinwil in the five tests that remain to finish the 2022 Formula 1 season.
Although Aston Martin is one of the two teams, along with Red Bull, that supposedly would have exceeded the budget limit last year, they do not hesitate to continue updating their current AMR22, with the intention of gaining a foothold in the front.
